The Squash Pros in Room 4!

We ended up doing some good squash tricks to get our wrists warmed up. People didn't give up and kept trying. Check out these two videos of some students showing off some pretty good rallies!

Squash with Bruce!

Bruce from Sport Southland came to teach us some squash skills this week. We really enjoyed learning something new.
Check out our skills in the photos and clips below.

What did you find challenging? What did you enjoy learning? What would you focus on next time?

Rm 4 Smash the Cross Country!

What? The Cross Country involving Makarewa, Waianawa, Heddon Bush & Drummond Schools.

Where? Waianawa Primary School.

When? Monday 22nd May - 1pm.

How? Our wonderful parents and teachers took us.

Who? All of us!

Why? To strengthen our hearts, legs, our self esteem, positivity and to have fun achieving with our classmates and other members of our school.

Our Thoughts? "It was really tiring. I thought I went really good actually. It was hot too so even more tiring," said Cormac.
"It was competitive with the Heddon Bush kids," explained Kaiden.
"It was fun, tiring and too far!" exclaimed Shianne.
