What did you find challenging? What did you enjoy learning? What would you focus on next time?
Hi Room 4, my name is Mrs Spragg. I teach a Year 5-8 class in Christchurch. I don't know much about squash but I can see from your photos that you need to have a good grip and some skill in making the racquet connect with the ball. What did you find the most difficult part of learning about squash? Do you have a squash court that you can use in the future to practise? It was good to see how you have to hold the grip. Thanks for sharing this. From Mrs Spragg, Yaldhurst Model School, Chch
ReplyDeleteHi Mrs Spragg,
DeleteI think the hardest part was doing a pancake flip which is flipping your racket while bouncing your ball in the air. Also we don't have a squash court, it was just set up in the rugby club which is down the road. Thank you for our very first blog comment!

Hey Room 4,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the squash lessons. The pancake flops were really challenging. My most exciting part of the lesson was vs my partner in the court. I wonder how long Bruce has been playing squash for?

HI Blake here I am wondering if we can chat too me I am bored
DeleteHi Room 4
ReplyDeleteI found squash really fun and I think that the hardest part about it was the pancake flip because I kept hitting the ball to hard which made it hard to keep flipping the racket and trying to keep the ball on the racket. Do you think you would ever like to play squash?
